Edward A. Stimmler Jr. of
Roxborough, formerly of Blue Bell, died unexpectedly Oct. 22, 2010. He was 37. Mr. Stimmler was a graduate
of LaSalle College High School, Class of 1992, and a 1997 graduate of Bloomsburg College. He was employed as a
chemist for the Bilcare Co., a pharmaceutical and research development company. He was an avid motorcycle rider
and cyclist who participated in Lance Armstrong races. He loved life, hunting, camping and the outdoors, and traveled
extensively, having just returned from Russia. He is survived by his wife, Natalia (Zakharchuk) Stimmler; his
parents, Jody (Gallagher) and Edward Stimmler; a brother, David (Alyssa); and
a sister, Julie Stimmler. He is the grandson of Joseph and the late Bernice Gallagher, uncle of
Christopher Stimmler, and is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited
to a viewing Thursday, Oct. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. at the Koller Funeral Home,
6835 Ridge Ave. (cor. of Livezey). A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John
the Baptist Church, 119 Rector St. Phila., PA 19127, with the Rev. James Lyons officiating. In
lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to LaSalle College High School, 8605 Cheltenham Ave.,
Wyndmoor, PA 19038.
