Notes: At the time of the 1910 U.S. Federal Census, Dagny O. was 6 years old and living with her parents Seming (age 38) and Ida Peterson (age 34), and three siblings, Lillian S. (age 9),

At the time of the 1920 U.S. Federal Census, Dagny O. was 15 years old and living with her parents Seming (age 48) and Lena Peterson (age 44), and siblings Lillian (age 19), Theodore R. (age 17), Selman B. (age 13), Violet I. (age 9), Isabella M. (age 7) and Gleva L. (age 2-9/12), born in Wisconsin [Source: ED 160, Page 6A, Lines 21-29, Dwelling 111, Family 115, FHL US/Can Film #1822009].

In 1930 Dagney's husband Wilton was working as a manager for the Nokomis Theatre located at 3749 Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis. They and their two children were living at 1912 Clinton Ave., Apt. 101 at the time. Wilton had been in failing health for a year or two, and his condition worsened until he was taken to Minneapolis General Hospital on November 8, 1932 where he was diagnosed with nephritis and anemia. While in the hospital he contracted bronchopneumonia on November 26. He passed away on Thursday, December 1, 1932 at the age of 27 years. Daughter Marilyn was 5 and son Bill Jr. was 2 years old when their father died.
 
At the time of Wilton's death, Dagny was working as a saleswoman for John W. Thomas & Co. (Richard Qvale's first wife Verna was working as a saleswoman at John W. Thomas in 1937.) In 1932 Dagny and the children were living at 307 University Ave. SE in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Dagny married second John Walter Uten and is buried with him at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
