Notes: At the time of the June 7, 1880 federal census, Annie was 6 years old, attending school and living with her parents,
  three younger siblings and her Aunt Mary Murphy (age 19), her mother's sister, in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her father was working as an engineer.
 
Anna went to work in a textile mill in Manayunk in 6th grade.
 
On June 2, 1900, Annie was 24 years old and living with her husband Joseph and their 2-month old daughter, Mary, at 4501 Main Street in District 449, Philadelphia Ward 21, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was working as a plumber.

On April 22, 1910, Annie was 36 years old and living with her husband Joseph, their six children and a 17-year-old servant, Maggie Krafenbury in Philadelphia Ward 21, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her husband was working as a plumber.
 
At the time of the Jan. 28, 1920 federal census, Annie was 46 years old and living with her husband Joseph and their seven children at 323 Roxborough Ave. in Philadelphia Ward 21, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her husband was working as a house plumber and their eldest son Joseph was working as an inspector for the telephone company.
 
In the April 4, 1930 federal census, Annie M. was living with her husband Joseph and five of their children (with the exception of second son John) at 323 Roxborough Avenue in Roxborough, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They owned their home which was valued at $10,000 (or $100,000 in current 2001 dollars) and the family had a radio. Annie was 54 years old at the time.

At the time of the Apr. 17, 1940 U.S. federal census, Annie was 69 years old and living with his 72-year-old husband Joseph, their bachelor son Valentine (age 34), and daughter Anita Baffa (age 27), her hairdresser husband Richard (age 35) and their two young sons, Richard (age 7) and Robert (age 3), at 323 Roxborough Ave. in the 21st Ward of Philadelphia City. They had been living in the same house on Apr. 1, 1935. Her husband was no longer working but he had income from other sources. Both she and her husband Joseph had completed school through the 7th grade.
 
Anna was a widow when she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on Feb. 1, 1955 due to complications of cardiovascular disease. She lingered for three days before passing away at her home at 5905 Ridge Ave. in Philadelphia at the age of 81.
