 On Saturday, June 10th at noon from
Minnesota, Oregon, Arizona and all over California we came to meet at the clubhouse in
Santa Maria, California. The weather was perfect -- warm and sunny with clear blue skies. After an hour of chatting
and getting to know our new-found relatives, everyone took a seat. Spence Stimler
announced the three June birthdays of John Munson, Marge Randall and
Sherry Rodgers. Bill Greenlesh said an
eloquent prayer of grace and thanks for the blessings of family before we had a delicious and bountiful meal of baked chicken,
baked beans, potato and other assorted salads, and the pièce de résistance -- layer cake and ice cream!
