His third wife Laura is a nurse for Bright Medical Associates, Inc. in La Habra, California. In February 2011 Dr. Stimmler was named president of Bright Health Physicians of PIH (the organization of 11 hospitals and clinics has since been renamed PIH Health) and served in this position for just under two years before resigning in January 2014.
