Theodora A. "Teddy" Musielewicz, a resident of Rockville went peacefully to be with the Lord April 21, 2008, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Teddy was surrounded by her loving husband and family. Teddy was born on the family farm June 8, 1931, near Rice to Anton and Clara (Witucki) Maier. After grade school in a small one room rural school, she attended St. Francis Catholic High School in Little Falls. The summers would find her mowing and raking hay with horses on the farm. She went to nurses training at St. Francis Hospital in Little Falls, graduating as a registered nurse. She met Carl through his twin sister Clara while in high school; they were married Sept. 14, 1954, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton. Teddy lived in St. Cloud most of her married life until moving to Grand Lake in 1990. She used her nursing skills and love of people working in pediatrics at the St. Cloud Hospital and later at the Assumption Home in Cold Spring and as a hospice volunteer. Teddy was formerly a member of St. Paul's parish in St. Cloud and currently a member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Rockville where she volunteered in the religious education program, teaching 2nd grade religion classes and as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Christian Women. Teddy enjoyed summer gatherings at their lake home on Grand Lake since 1969. She was a great cook and enjoyed baking. Her family will miss her homemade caramel rolls, jellies and jams.
