At the time of the Apr. 26, 1910 U.S. federal census, Nicholas was 7 years old and living with his
parents and five siblings in Brockway, Stearns, Minnesota. His father was working as a farmer in general farming.
In the Feb. 25, 1920 census, Nick was 17 years old, attending school and living with his mother Frances and eight siblings. He was no longer attending school but was working with his brother Joseph as a laborer on the family farm. At the time of the Apr. 12, 1930 U.S. federal census, Nick was 27 years old and living with his mother Frances and seven siblings in Brockway, Stearns, Minnesota. He was working as a farm laborer in general farming along with his younger brothers Stanley and Peter A. Brother Joseph was working as a house carpenter. Anna and Nick lived in Gilmanton Township, Benton County, Minnesota. Nick died Nov. 23, 1971 in Stearns County, Minnesota. He was 68 years old. |
