Dick Kampa comments on Nela Kampa: "Kornelia Kampa-Gyros and I have maintained an email correspondence since Bonnie and I visited Opole and Polska Nowa Weis when we visited three years ago. She has a remarkable spirit being a supportive mother to three children, students in New York, Netherlands and China. She's estranged from her husband who still lives in the same house. Nela has a dental practice, travels a lot, has many women friends with whom she attends music performances and movies. She studies italiano and Espaņol. Takes part in yoga retreats and cross-country skiing - whew! - don't know where she gets the energy for all she does but we're glad she finds time to regularly communicate and share her life."
