Kampa Home Near Bath
"MR. AND MRS. Michael J. Kampa
have returned to their home near Bath following a wedding trip to Mr. Kampa's boyhood home in Minnesota, where the newlyweds also visited
the groom's brothers and sisters.
"Mrs. Kampa (above) is the former Miss Darlys Elnora James, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. David D. James of Bath. The wedding took place in the Congregational Church of Columbia.
The Rev. J. Vincent Crane was officiated.
"The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin designed with a
fitted bodice buttoned down the back and at the wrists with tiny satin buttons. The nylon net yoke was
accented by seeded pearl and beaded trim, which covered the bodice and front of the gathered skirt in a
spray pattern. The full skirt extended to a long train.
"Mrs. John Zulkowsky of Oak Park, Minn., sister of the groom,
and Miss Bonnie Miller of Columbia attended the bride. Dwayne James of Bath was best man and
Kenneth Webb Houghton was groomsman.
"The bride's parents gave a reception for about 250 guests in the church parlors."
