| in Delran at 2 1/2 years. When the family moved to East Grand Rapids, MI she was a first grader at Lakeside and proceeded through the system, graduating from EGR High School. She enjoyed and excelled in history, drama, art, German and writing. She earned her BA degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in Art History. After a trip to Greece and Turkey with her family she was the manager of an art gallery in Ann Arbor. Gretchen and Bob Biggs were married in Grand Rapids and enjoyed a trip through Greece and Turkey for their honeymoon. They returned to Ann Arbor. There Bob finished his degree at the University of Michigan in Industrial Design. They returned to Grand Rapids and Bob works at Meijer Corporate Offices on a facilities design team and Gretchen works at Kinkos. Ruby was born in August, 1997. The family now lives in East Grand Rapids. Ruby, a budding artist, will start first grade at Lakeside School in September, 2003. |
