Edward A. Kaufmann

Mr. Kaufmann, 82, died Oct. 19, 2000, at a local care center. He owned and operated the first Orange Julius stand at the Rustic Hills Mall in Colorado Springs. He served in the Army for five years.
 
Mr. Kaufmann was born June 12, 1918, in Fairview, Mont., to John and Mary (Owens) Kaufmann, who are deceased. He was married July 27, 1942, to Beatrice James, who is deceased.
 
He is survived by a son, James of Colorado Springs; a brother, Richard of San Leandro, Calif.; two sisters, Leona Redgrave of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Aggie Fulton of Hayward, Calif., and four grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Jackson, a brother, and a sister.
 
Visitation will be from noon to 3 pm Sunday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd 634-1597.
 
A funeral service will be at 9 am Monday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Graveside services will be at 2 pm Monday at Lakeview Cemetery, Cheyenne, Wyo.
