At the age of 50 on Mar. 4, 1810, Daniel enlisted with Capt. Conkling in the New York Militia for a period of five years, serving in Capt. A. F. Adams' Company of the Militia. He was 5'10-1/2" tall, with dark hair, hazel eyes and a light complexion. He was a farmer born in Concord, New Hampshire. Unfortunately he was suspended on June 30, 1813 for general debility and discharged at Burlington, Vermont on Aug. 15, 1813. |
