At the time of the April 4, 1930 U.S. federal census, Anna was 38 years old and living with her husband Andrew
and their four children in a home rented for $10 month at 912 3rd St. in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN. The family did not own a radio. Andrew was working as a
carpenter. Anna stated that she was born in Minnesota and both her parents were born in Germany. She said that she and Andrew were married when she was 18 and he was 24 years
