 Ruth Mullally Mokosso,
age 64, passed away peacefully at her home February 20, 2010 with children, her sister Mary and
family friends by her side.
Ruth was born on July 9th, 1945 in Sauk Rapids, MN. She graduated from
Cathedral HS, received her BS from St. Cloud State and Masters in Pharmacology from the University of
Minnesota. Ruth was an amazing person whose love and strength touched the lives of so many people. Ruth
served in the Peace Corps and lived in Africa for many years. She returned to the United States with her children
and lived in Roseville, MN and was a long time parishioner of Corpus Christi church. Ruth’s faith and
inner spirit empowered her to fight and live through a ten year battle with cancer. Ruth will be missed
greatly by her family and will be remembered for her strength, kindness and sense of humor.
She was
preceded in death by her parents Roy and Marie Mullally,
her brothers Roy, Jim, Leo and her sister Ann.
She is survived by her brothers Bob, John,
George, Ralph, her sister
Mary; children Will, Roy, Mark, Marie and
two grandchildren. On Saturday February 27th, 2010, a celebration of Ruth’s life will be held
at 10:00 AM, funeral Mass at 11:00 AM and lunch to follow, at Corpus Christi Church,
2131 Fairview Ave. N., Roseville, MN 55113. Donations may be made to the American
Cancer Society.
