with his parents and three younger siblings in Saint George, Benton, Minnesota. His father was a farmer in
general farming. Roy and his younger brother Erwin were both attending school.
At the time of the April 5, 1930 census, Roy was 18 years and living with his parents and seven siblings on their own farm in St. George Township, MN. He was no longer attending school. The family did not own a radio. His father was working as a farmer in general farming. Roy married Loretta Jaeckels in Duelm, Benton, Minnesota on May 14, 1935. Their union was blessed with ten children. Roy died on June 18, 1983 in Stearns County, Minnesota. He was 70 years old. |
