Obituary of Otto Balder,
"Otto Balder, one-time resident of Benton County passed away at the Princeton Community Hospital on Wednesday, January 4th at the age of 82 years.
"Mr. Balder was born on April 5, 1895 in Benton County. He resided in the Duelm and Foley area until moving to Hillman in 1937. He resided there until 1962 when he moved to Brainerd. For the past five and one-half years he lived with his daughter in Bethel.
"He is survived by his sons and daughters: Charles of Onamia; Mrs. Victor (Edith) Vogtlin, Bethel; Mrs. Wallace (Myrtle) Pfeilsticker, Wabasha, Minn.; Mrs. (Grace) Glen Nook, Brainerd; Mrs. Carl (Norma) Morahn of Billings, Montana. There are 28 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
"He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora.
"Funeral services were held Saturday, January 7th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rita's Catholic Church in Hillman. Rev. Leo Soweda officiated at the Funeral Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
"Parish prayers were said at the Shelley-Virnig Funeral chapel in Pierz at 8:00 p.m. Friday night.
"The pallbears were Glen Balder, Russell Balder, James Vogtlin, William Vogtlin, Jon Pfeilsticker and William Pfeilsticker."
