 AKRON, Ohio --
John P. Kampa, formerly of St. Cloud, 64, died Wednesday. He was
born Aug. 23, 1898, in Freeport.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Ida Adams and a son, Richard, and daughters, Mrs. Florian Widman
(Isabel) and Mrs. Robert Prow (Ida), all of St. Cloud. There are 20
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Also surviving are the following
brothers and sisters: Mrs. Lewis Welle, Sauk Centre; Mrs. Claude Abeln,
California; Albert, Minneapolis; Sylvester, West Covina, Calif.
Kampa was a member of the
Holy Names Sodality and Knights of Columbus in Akron and of the St. Cloud
Eagles club.
Friends may call at the
Tschumperlin-Williams funeral home, St. Cloud, beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m.
Monday at St. John Cantius church, St. Cloud.
