Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, November 3, 2005 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Duelm. The Rev. Bernard&bsp;Kahlhamer will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 pm Wednesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and 1 hour before services at the church. Parish prayers will be at 6 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Stanley Kampa was born April 13, 1917 in Palmer Twp., Sherburne Co., MN to Charles and Mary (Kaproth) Kampa. He married Frances Miller November 9, 1937 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duelm. He had lived and farmed his whole life in Palmer Township. Stan liked to travel and fish. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
He is survived by his son and daughters, James (Ginny), St. Cloud; Lois (John) Blattner, Sun City West, AZ; Jean (George) Schloegl, Waite Park; Sue (Stan) Johnson, St. Cloud; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great granchildren, and a sister, Caroline Mathis, Albert Lea. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances, November 9, 1998, an infant son and daughter, and grandson, David Liutgen, 1 brother and 3 sisters.
