He was working as a Twister for Layffett Mills at Howard and Lehigh Avenue in Philadelphia. He was tall and of medium build, with brown eyes and dark hair. At the time of the April 18, 1930 federal census, Nicholas was 39 years old and living with his wife Sarah and their three children at 3830 "J" Street in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a self-employed Electrician. He said that he and Sarah were married when he was 22 and she was 19 years old. In 1942 Nicholas and Sarah Wolf were living in Hatfield, Montgomery, Pennsylvania. They did not have a telephone. Nicholas was 51 years old and working for Vigilant Mills at Adams Avenue and Lepier Street in Philadelphia. Nicholas died in May 1972 at Hatfield, Montgomery, Pennsylvania. He was 81 years old. |
