| Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Feb. 5, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Mary Jo Mohs, 73, of Waite Park, who died Feb. 1, 2015. The Reverend Jerome Tupa, OSB, will officiate. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph, and one hour prior to the service at the Heritage Hall of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Parish prayers will be 6:00 PM and the Waite Park American Legion Auxiliary Unit #428 will have prayers at 6:15 PM. Mary Jo was born on September 9, 1941, in St. Cloud, to Ralph and Bertha (Kampa) Barthelemy. She married Harvey Mohs on May 30, 1963 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Foley. She lived in St. Joseph for most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph and the Waite Park American Legion Auxiliary Unit #428. Mary Jo is survived by: her husband; children Todd (Nancy) of Surprise, AZ, Gail (Mark) Schloesser of St. Joseph, Jodi (Rich) Erkens of Rice; six grandchildren (and one on the way); 1 great grandson; brother and sisters Pat VanDalen of Hackensack, Diane Thorsten of Foley, Roger of St. Cloud, Janice Koscielniak of Foley.
