elder brother Bernard A. in Fromberg, Carbon, Montana. The family was living in a rented home and father Reuben did not have a listed occupation.

At the time of the Apr. 3, 1930 U.S. Census, Lillian was 12 years old and living with her mother Mabel in a home rented for $8/month in District 30 of Fromberg, Carbon, Montana. Her mother was working as a servant in a private home and stated that she was married when she was 21 years old. They did not own a radio. Lillian's father and brother were living separately from her and her mother in District 31 of Fromberg.

In 1935 when she was 18 years old Lillian was still living in Fromberg, Carbon, Montana [Source: 1940 U.S. Census].

Lillian became acquainted with her future husband, Everett H. Dixon, during the summer of 1936 when she was working at Morris Dude Ranch and he worked a short distance away at the Trout Creek Ranch on the North Fork in Park County, Wyoming. They were married on Feb. 5, 1938 in Cody, Park, Wyoming when she was 20 and he was 26 years old.

At the time of the May 15, 1940 U.S. Census, Lillian was 22 years old and living with her 27-year-old husband, Everett H., their six-month-old daughter, Marlene A., and a 28-year-old lodger from Montana, Carl E. Huntington, in a home they rented for $5/month located in a rural area of Park County, Wyoming. Her husband and Carl were working 60 hours a week as ranch hands on a cattle ranch. Everett had worked 52 weeks in 1939 and earned $960. He had completed his education through the 7th grade but Lillian was a high school graduate, as was Carl.

This was the Hollister Ranch, where both daughters Marlene and Janice were born. The family lived there for 14 years while the girls attended Wapiti School.

The Dixons rented the Stonebridge Place for three years, then worked three more years at the Broken H Ranch. In 1956 they bought the Hans Nelson Ranch on Irma Flat. The Dixons sold their ranch in 1981 and moved to Cody.

At the time of her husband's death in April 1994 he and Lillian were living at 825 Canyon Ave. in Cody, Park, Wyoming.

In 1996 when she was 79 years old Lillian was living at 1162 Garfield St. in Lander, Fremont, Wyoming. She enjoyed living near the Lander Senior Center and participating in activities.

Lillian passed away on June 8, 2012 at The Margaret T. Morris Center in Prescott, Arizona at the age of 94. Her family had a nice graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Cody, Wyoming on September 12. Then on December 28 the family had a celebration of her life in Prescott, Arizona and all of her children's families were able to attend.
