parents and siblings.
On June 5, 1917, John was 30 years old and working as a farmer for himself in Palmer, Sherburne, Minnesota. His home address was in Foley on RR1. John was married and he and his wife had three children. He was a short man of medium build with grey eyes and dark hair. In the April 21, 1930 census, John was 43 years old and living with his wife Kathy and their five children on a rented farm in Palmer Township, Sherburne County, MN. The family did not own a radio. John said he and Kathy were married when they were both 24 years old. He stated he was born in Minnesota and both of his parents were born in Germany. |
