Jerry attended two years at St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia and his last two years at Roman Catholic High School, also in Philadelphia. Jerry worked part-time as an inspector for Atco Raceway in New Jersey out of High School and part-time with the family business, G.J. Stimmler & Sons, Inc. while attending LaSalle College. After one year, Jerry had to stop attending college due to his father having a medical condition that inhibited him from working in 1956. Jerry committed to the family business on a full-time basis after that. He then took over running G.J. Stimmler & Sons, Inc. Since then Jerry was involved with his company until his passing on Sept. 1, 2013. He also enjoyed the annual hunting and fishing trips he would take. Jerry and Ann lived at 581 Parker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jerry's residence with Becky was at 200 E. 10th Ave., Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Jerry worked until a week before he passed away from complications of lung cancer. |
