 "George Abfalter,
62, died at the St. Cloud Hospital Dec. 29. He was born in Foley May 30,
1910, to Blaise and Anna Abfalter.
"Mr. Abfalter
is survived by his widow, Carrie; daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Donna) Goebel,
Mrs. John (Mary) Roberts and Mrs. Joseph (Betty) Kruchten, St. Cloud; Shelly,
at home; Mrs. Richard (Delores) Borash, Fairbanks, Alaska; sons, Clarence,
Lawrence and Richard, Sauk Rapids; John and Ronald, St. Cloud; Bruce, at home, and
Gerald, Minneapolis; 46 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers and sisters,
Mrs. Henry Winkelman, Mrs. Ingual Jenson, Mrs. Clara Bauer, Mrs. Elmer Halverson,
Frank and Rudy.
"Burial services will be at
10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Lawrence Church, Duelm. Pallbears will be Lloyd
Abfalter, Bradley Roberts, DeWayne Goebel, Vern Malikowski, Roy Herbst and
Walter Rau.
"Friends may call at the Foley
Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Monday.
"St. Lawrence parish will say
parish prayers at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Monday."
