Connie was born on May 5, 1932 in Fairview, Montana to John H.
and Leona B. Sannon. She moved with her family to Billings as a young girl. It was here
that she received her education, graduating from Billings Senior High.
At the age of 20, Connie married James Mook on June 13, 1952. Together they made a family along with their six children, until 1963, when her husband died in an automobile accident while in California. Six years later, on March 7, 1969, she wed Ken Laughery in Cody, Wyoming. Connie began work at the Hipster Duggan Ice Cream Shop in 1980 and retired from her position as assistant manager in 1992. Connie passed away at her home on Saturday, Sept. 23, 1995, following a short fight with cancer. She was 63 years old. |
